Around about the third week of January the soft thud of credit card envelopes echoes around the country. OK, so most people get their bills online but we don’t let the facts get in the way of a good bit of imagery.
Christmas may be a distant memory now but the credit card companies don’t forget that easily. This week we’ve seen loads of people go to Twitter to bemoan their January credit card bills…
Many were worried about looking at their bill:

Those that did summon up the courage to open their statements didn’t always have a happy experience:

It was never going to be a happy moment when my credit card statement for December arrived
Though at least one person didn’t find it too bad:

Clearly some people don’t mind having a joke on Twitter about their credit cards. But if you think your credit card is no laughing matter then it’s much better to get help rather than tweet about it.
You can get debt help from us online using our advice tool Debt Remedy or you can give us a call and speak to an advisor about your debts.
